SURINAME: 3rd Amendment of the VAT Act 2022

VAT changes in Suriname
On Friday, September 1, 2023, several proposed amendments to the VAT Act 2022 were adopted at the meeting of the National Assembly. The recent amendments to the VAT Act 2022 have been published in S.B. 2023 No. 126 on September 6, 2023. This is the 3rd amendment of the VAT Act 2022 in a year. Some changes to the VAT Act will be effective as of September 6, while some will be effective as of October 1, and some as of November 1.
